The name ‘Fusion’ reflects the eclectic blend of soul, blues, jazz, funk and pop that this band delivers to keep the audience on the dance floor. The band does exactly as promised – fusing together genres to with their own unique groove bringing an upbeat and energetic drive to instantly recognisable songs, both contemporary and classic.
Fusion uses a versatile musicianship to deliver catchy interpretations of great songs, akin to Postmodern Jukebox and Scary Pockets.
The band members met at various events throughout Cyprus and once formed a scratch band to satisfy the needs of a client for a Christmas party. They all got on, had a great time, made some great music… and Fusion was born.
Every member of Fusion has an infectious love for music and a technical command of their instrument. With various band members having worked together on many other projects spanning several genres, a cohesive and tight groove is passionately delivered whatever the style.
The core of Fusion is four-piece band: drums, bass, keyboard and vocals.
Depending on the requirements of the event, the band can be expanded as required to incorporate additional instruments such as: guitars, brass sections, backing vocals and more.
